श्री पार्श्वनाथ-स्तोत्र अर्थ सहित

नरेन्द्रं फणीन्द्रं सुरेन्द्रं अधीशं, शतेन्द्रं सु पूजैं भजै नाय शीशं ॥ 

मुनीन्द्रं गणेन्द्रं नमो जोडि हाथं, नमोदेव देवं सदापार्श्वनाथं ॥1॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: चक्रवर्ती राजा (नरेंद्र), नागराज (फणींद्र), और देवराज इंद्र (सुरेंद्र) जिनके स्वामी हैं; सौ प्रकार के इंद्र सिर झुकाकर जिनकी पूजा और भजन करते हैं; बड़े-बड़े मुनिराज और गणधर हाथ जोड़कर जिन्हें नमन करते हैं—ऐसे देवों के देव भगवान पार्श्वनाथ को मेरा सदा नमस्कार है।

• English Meaning: I bow forever to Lord Parshvanath, the God of gods, who is revered by kings, serpent kings, and Indra (the king of gods). A hundred Indras bow their heads in worship, and great ascetics and chief disciples fold their hands in reverence before Him.

• गजेन्द्रं मृगेन्द्रं गह्यो तू छुड़ावै, महा आगतैं नागतैं तु बचावै॥ 
• महावीरतैं युध्द में तू जितावै, महा रोगतैं बंधतैं तू छुड़ावै ॥2॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: हे प्रभु! हाथी को जब सिंह पकड़ लेता है, तब आप रक्षा करते हैं। आप भयानक आग और जहरीले सांपों के भय से बचाते हैं। युद्ध में बड़े-बड़े शूरवीरों पर विजय दिलाते हैं और भयंकर रोगों तथा कारागार (बंधन) के कष्टों से मुक्ति दिलाते हैं।

• English Meaning: O Lord, You rescue an elephant caught in the clutches of a lion. You protect devotees from fierce fires and venomous snakes, grant victory against mighty warriors in battle, and free souls from chronic diseases and imprisonment.

• दु:खी दु:खहर्ता सुखी सुक्खकर्ता, सदा सेवकों को महानन्द भर्ता ॥ 
• हरे यक्ष राक्षस भूतं पिशाचं, विषं डांकिनी विघ्न के भय अवाचं ॥3॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: आप दुखियों के दुख दूर करने वाले और सभी को सुख प्रदान करने वाले हैं। अपने भक्तों को सदा परमानंद से भर देते हैं। आपके प्रभाव से यक्ष, राक्षस, भूत-प्रेत, पिशाच, विष और सभी अनकहे विघ्न-बाधाओं के भय नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

• English Meaning: You remove sorrow from the suffering, bestow true happiness, and fill Your devotees with supreme bliss. By Your grace, all fears of ghosts, demons, spirits, poison, evil influences, and unforeseen obstacles are dispelled.

• दरिद्रीन को द्रव्यकेदान दीने, अपुत्रीन को तू भलेपुत्र कीने ॥ 
• महासंकटो सेनिकारै विधाता, सबैसम्पदा सर्व को देहि दाता ॥4॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: आप निर्धनों को धन-संपत्ति देते हैं और संतानहीनों को सुयोग्य संतान का वरदान देते हैं। हे जगत के विधाता! आप भक्तों को बड़े-बड़े संकटों से उबारते हैं और सभी को जीवन की समस्त सुख-समृद्धि प्रदान करते हैं।

• English Meaning: You grant wealth to the poor and worthy children to the childless. O Lord and Protector, You pull devotees out of deep crises and generously bless everyone with all forms of prosperity.

• महाचोर को वज्रको भय निवारै, महापौन के पुँजतै तू उबारैं ॥ 
• महाक्रोध की अग्नि को मेघ धारा, महा लाभ-शैलेश को वज्र भारा ॥5॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: आप डाकुओं और बिजली (वज्रपात) के भय को दूर करते हैं तथा भयंकर तूफानों से रक्षा करते हैं। जैसे वर्षा की धारा भीषण आग को शांत कर देती है, वैसे ही आप क्रोध को शांत करते हैं और असीम आध्यात्मिक लाभ प्रदान करते हैं।

• English Meaning: You eliminate the fear of thieves and lightning strikes, and rescue people from fierce storms. Just as a heavy shower quenches a blazing fire, You extinguish the fire of intense anger and shower immense spiritual wealth.

• महा मोह अंधेरेकोज्ञान भानं, महा कर्म कांतार को दौ प्रधानं ॥ 
• किये नाग नागिन अधेलोक स्वामी, हरयो मान तू दैत्य को हो अकामी ॥6॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: आप अज्ञान और मोह रूपी घने अंधकार को मिटाने वाले ज्ञान रूपी सूर्य हैं। कर्म रूपी घने जंगल को नष्ट करने वाले अग्नि के समान हैं। आपने नाग-नागिन (धरणेंद्र-पद्मावती) को पाताल लोक का स्वामी बनाया और निष्काम भाव में लीन रहकर कमठ दैत्य के अहंकार को चूर कर दिया।

• English Meaning: You are the sun of knowledge that dispels the darkness of delusion, and the fire that clears the dense forest of karmas. You elevated the serpent pair (Dharanendra and Padmavati) into celestial rulers of the netherworld, and with complete detachment, shattered the ego of the demon Kamatha.

• तुही कल्पवृक्षं तुही काम धेनं, तुही दिव्य चिंतामणी नाग एनं ॥ 
• पशू नर्क के दु:खतैं तू छुडावैं, महास्वर्गतैं मुक्ति मैं तू बसावै ॥7॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: आप ही कल्पवृक्ष, कामधेनु और दिव्य चिंतामणि रत्न के समान सभी मनोकामनाएं पूरी करनेवाले हैं। आप जीवों को तिर्यंच (पशु) और नरक गति के घोर कष्टों से छुड़ाकर स्वर्ग और अंततः मोक्ष धाम में स्थापित करते हैं।

• English Meaning: You are the wish-fulfilling tree (Kalpavriksha), the celestial cow (Kamadhenu), and the divine gem (Chintamani) that fulfills all righteous wishes. You liberate souls from animal and hellish suffering, elevating them to heavenly realms and ultimate liberation (Moksha).

• करै लोह को हेम पाषाण नामी, रटै नामसौं क्यों न हो मोक्षगामी ॥ 
• करै सेव ताकी करैं देव सेवा, सुन बैन सोही लहै ज्ञान मेवा ॥8॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: जैसे पारस पत्थर लोहे को सोना बना देता है, वैसे ही आपका नाम जपने वाला मोक्ष मार्ग का पथिक बन जाता है। जो आपकी सेवा करता है, देवगण भी उसकी सेवा करते हैं; और जो आपकी वाणी सुनता है, उसे सम्यक ज्ञान रूपी उत्तम फल प्राप्त होता है।

• English Meaning: Just as a touchstone turns iron into gold, chanting Your holy name turns a seeker toward liberation. Devas serve those who serve You, and whoever listens to Your divine teachings attains the sweet fruit of true wisdom.

• जपै जाप ताको नहीं पाप लागैं, धरे ध्यानताके सबै दोष भागै ॥ 
• बिना तोहि जाने धरे भव घनेरे, तुम्हारी कृपा तैं सरैं काज मेरे ॥9॥

• हिन्दी अर्थ: जो आपका नाम जपता है, उसे पाप नहीं छूते; जो आपका ध्यान धरता है, उसके समस्त दोष व दुर्गुण नष्ट हो जाते हैं। आपको जाने बिना मैंने संसार में अनेक जन्मों के कष्ट झेले हैं, अब आपकी कृपा से मेरे सभी कार्य सिद्ध हो रहे हैं।

• English Meaning: One who chants Your name remains untouched by sin, and one who meditates upon You becomes free from all faults. Without knowing You, I wandered through countless cycles of rebirth; now, by Your divine grace, all my righteous endeavors are fulfilled.
