Why Bank Staff Are Helpless?

Delay in Bipartite  Settlement  is always abnormal.  Delay has been increasing  in every subsequent  Bipartite settlement.  Bank staff always experienced as cheated after conclusion of  every Bipartite settlement which took place during last four decades.  These bank staff accepted  whatsoever  they got in settlements. A section of staff become admirer  of Trade unions leaders and another section as cursers. Similarly  during transfer , posting and promotions, a section of bank employees  start class one flattery to their bosses and another section start  cursing bosses in their inner thoughts. This policy of Divide and Rule is followed  both by trade Unions and management bosses. 

Trade unions   are formed by bank staff to take care of bank staff. Management is also formed by bank staff and it is also  supposed  to take care of staff.  Unfortunately  both are not honestly  taking care of bank employees as they are supposed to take.  

Union and management  , both take part in Bipartite  settlement but both of them do not take care of Bank staff.  They ignore interest  of bank employees  and this is why wages of bankers  have faced continuous erosion in each settlements  which were held before. 

It is ironical that bank staff do not fire their CMD,  MD and nor to trade union leaders.  Bank staff consider it easier to put entire blame on government.  They abused MMS led UPA government  and now are abusing Modi led NDA government. This is why they always fail in hitting the target.  They need introspection. They express their anger on facebook and in Whatsapp  groups but dare not speak to their leaders who are supposed  to protect them. 

During seventies  and partly during eighties , Bank staff used to carry out periodical meetings inevery branch and branch representatives used to convey their demands  to state leaders and state to national leaders. Similarly central leaders used to call state level and national  level meetings to assess and find out the views of bank employees  on every issues including  pay and allowances.  Similarly every branch head used to read demands of staff and put their findings during their meetings  with their bosses.  

As time passed , entire process reversed.  Now trade union leaders  and top bosses sit in AC chambers at head offices and decide the fate of employees.  They jointly  decide where a staff has to be posted and who is to be promoted and who to be rejected irrespective  of their performance .  They decide who is to be punished without a mistake and who is to be awarded with choice posting and  quick promotion even if the staff is weak or corrupt. 

Paradox is that when something  good happens to few staff they start flattery  to their leaders as well as to their bosses.  And when something  unusual happens to few staff,  he or she start cursing  their leaders and bosses.  In this way both management  and trade unions  divide and rule staff as per their whims and caprices .  

When staff cry for something  they (trade union leaders  as well as top bosses) all put blame  on government because  they know staff cannot reach government  .Even if they write to government    , their letters will not be looked into because government  has given full powers to management  to have Bipartite settlement after mutual dialogues. 

IBA is nothing but a Whatsapp  group of every CMD and admin is chosen  by them from within themselves  . They chose such a person as head of IBA who can motivate trade union leaders and who help in keeping industrial relation  cordial.  Trade unions take advantage  of their powers invested in them by bank staff and  respect given by management.  Head of both wings are becoming  wealthier  and stronger whereas bank employees  are objects of pity and nothing more.
