IN Today' Conciliation Proceedings IBA sent a letter to Dy. CLC stating that United Forum of We Bankers has opposed the very existence of IBA who is involved in the process of collective bargaining since 1946 and it want to finish the existing system of BPS which is in existence since 19.10.1966, it does not intent to participate in further conciliation proceedings since it has no mandate from Banks to held discussions with United Forum of We Bankers. IBA further insisted that no employer employee relationship exists between IBA and UFWB and advised We Bankers to raise the matter directly with Banks concerned.
Sri R. A. Awasthi who participated as representative of UFBU also insisted that since all the 9 major unions have decided not to support Strike Call given by UFWB even though it morally support the demands of We Bankers. He also insisted to close the proceedings so that UFBU may sign the settlement with IBA soon.
The representatives of United Forum of We Bankers strongly opposed the views of IBA and UFBU and stressed that without submission of point wise reply to Statement of Case, closure of Conciliation Proceedings would be mockery of conciliation proceedings. United Forum of We Bankers submitted reply to the submissions filed by IBA on 6th November as also made a request to implead all the Public Sector Banks as necessary parties in view of the statement of IBA and advised made by it.
After hearing the points raised by United Forum of We Bankers, Dy. CLC agreed to include the names of Public Sector Banks as necessary parties as also not to end the Conciliation Proceedings advising We Bankers not to go on Strike from 1st January and fixed 3rd January as next date for proceedings.
Thus, in spite of strong pressure from IBA and UFBU for lifting the ban of Section 33 by closing the conciliation proceedings, We Bankers has succeeded in keeping the conciliation proceedings alive.
आज कि ’कांउसलिंग प्रोसीडिंग्स के लिए IBA ने उपमुख्यश्रमायुक्त कानपुर को एक पत्र भेजा है। जिसमे उपमुख्यश्रमायुक्त ने कहा कि यूनाइटेड फोरम ऑफ वी बैंकर्स ने IBA के अस्तित्व का विरोध किया है जो 1946 से सामूहिक सौदेबाजी की प्रक्रिया में शामिल है और यह BPS की मौजूदा प्रणाली को समाप्त करना चाहता है जो 19.10.1966 से अस्तित्व में है, इसका कोई इरादा नहीं है। आगे की कार्यवाही कार्यवाही में भाग लें क्योंकि इसमें यूनाइटेड फोरम ऑफ़ वी बैंकर्स के साथ बैंकों से विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए बैंकों का कोई जनादेश नहीं है। IBA ने आगे जोर देकर कहा कि IBA और UFWB के बीच कोई नियोक्ता कर्मचारी संबंध नहीं है और हमने बैंकरों को सीधे संबंधित बैंकों के साथ मामला उठाने की सलाह दी।
यूएफबीयू के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में भाग लेने वाले श्री आर। ए। अवस्थी ने भी जोर देकर कहा कि चूंकि सभी 9 प्रमुख यूनियनों ने यूएफडब्ल्यूबी द्वारा दी गई स्ट्राइक कॉल का समर्थन नहीं करने का फैसला किया है, हालांकि यह नैतिक रूप से वी बैंकर्स की मांगों का समर्थन करता है। उन्होंने कार्यवाही को बंद करने पर जोर दिया ताकि यूएफबीयू जल्द ही आईबीए के साथ समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर कर सके।
यूनाइटेड फोरम ऑफ वी बैंकर्स के प्रतिनिधियों ने आईबीए और यूएफबीयू के विचारों का कड़ा विरोध किया और जोर देकर कहा कि स्टेटमेंट ऑफ केस के बिंदुवार जवाब के बिना, सुलह कार्यवाही को बंद करना सुलह की कार्यवाही का मखौल होगा। यूनाइटेड फोरम ऑफ वी बैंकर्स ने 6 नवंबर को आईबीए द्वारा दायर की गई प्रस्तुतियाँ का जवाब दिया, साथ ही आईबीए के बयान के मद्देनजर सभी सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों को आवश्यक पार्टियों के रूप में प्रस्तुत करने का अनुरोध किया और इसके द्वारा सलाह दी।
यूनाइटेड फोरम ऑफ वी बैंकर्स द्वारा उठाए गए बिंदुओं को सुनने के बाद, उप। सीएलसी ने सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों के नाम को आवश्यक दलों के रूप में शामिल करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की और साथ ही हम बैंकरों को 1 जनवरी से हड़ताल पर नहीं जाने की सलाह देने वाली कार्यवाही समाप्त करने के लिए और कार्यवाही के लिए अगली तारीख 3 जनवरी तय की।
इस प्रकार, सुलह कार्यवाही को बंद करके धारा 33 के प्रतिबंध को हटाने के लिए आईबीए और यूएफबीयू के मजबूत दबाव के बावजूद, वी बैंकर्स सुलह कार्यवाही को जीवित रखने में सफल रहे हैं।

It's our spirit, to have 'neither pride, nor predilections, only appeal'. We carry forward our campaign at UFBU, IBA & Government level with sole & focused purpose to invite their kind attention to our plights with sympathetic fervors. It is another matter that UFBU doesn't take cognizance of our communications, as clarified by its biggest constituent.
We have plenty of thanks to offer them for revealing the truth, but half. Full truth is that UFBU and it's constituents don't take cognizance to working fraternity, who are their milching cows, who pay hefty subscription every month and 4% of arrears of over 2 and a half years in thousands as levy. If they don't give cognizance to their members, who pay them lavishly, then why should retirees be very hopeful is a landmark point to be understood! We agree, we shouldn't expect them doing for us.
We don't pay any subscription or levy. If our issues are considered in money terms, it will dumpen the money bill of working fraternity, is the prophesy of UFBU & constituents. We have had said in past and reiterate the same now again that in case the Pension was being paid from Banks' revenues, UFBU & it's constituents would have been first to blame that Banks' present financial difficulties are because of Pension Payment. Most ashaming fact is that Pensioners are taken as burden, redundant heads.
Today, IBA as well as UFBU pray jointly before they start formal gossips: O God! help, get rid of this redundant force. So, we should hope them doing our job collectively. Here, they are one.
Well, they don't give us cognizance, but we don't want to fail to remind them their duties as working class organizations, not to be so arrogant & apathetic to their e-breatheren & their bonded duty of trade union to protect, safeguard and improve the wages, pension, service conditions of banking fraternity, to which we are a inseparable part and pension being the part of service conditions and not a bounty of management.
We have opined in past that whenever there is Bipartite Joint Talks, Retirees must assemble there for the Day Long Dharana in support of their right to Pension Revision, meet on deputation and handover memorandum to UFBU & IBA executives. They are sitting in closed room gossiping, let retirees sit outside gossiping. This should have been an ideal way. Retirees outfits are doing Dharana/ Demonstrations across the country from time to time. It's good. But, they totally failed to hit at right place. We don't know their view point in this regard. But, we are of the strong opinion that all Retirees Unions and their leading activists must make it a regular phenomenon to sit on Day Long Dharana at IBA office, Mumbai, whenever talks are held.
We urge upon all our activists to be creative in their own way. They may start writing Post Cards to PM/ FM just demanding Pension Updating as done in BRI. Only 2/3 line message. RBI pension is cleared by Govt. Our Pension is linked to RBI pension, so if RBI pension is revised, our Pension too be revised. Just purchase 10 cards and start sending every alternate day. One rupee one message. Cheapest & best. Motivate others, working or retired. After message write your name address place date etc. From 20.12.2019 to 20.1.2020, one month, let us do this small movement. Does it really need much stress? No, not at all,, its very effective tool.
Make every day your mission. If 20% Pensioners respond to it, see wonderful culmination of dumping PMO by over lakhs of Post Card message. Why 20%? Why not we all? Purchase PCs bundles and distribute free even. Write message and just tell people to write their name & address. Just appreciating our letters is not enough. It's okay. We do it for you and you too reciprocate by agreeing to send PCs.
Otherwise, dear friends, no way, no right, no justice. Mere crying is called madness. We are not mad. Let us make others mad. We are capable to do it . Let us have a missionary zeal. Please dedicate yo it.
