Shri S.C.Jain
General Secretary
All India Bank Retirees’ Federation
Dear Shri Jain,
We acknowledge receipt of your mails dated 10.7.2018 and 17.7.2018 in regard to joint and coordinated efforts. We also confirm having replied to you immediately appreciating the points raised by you.
It is a matter of great satisfaction that both CBPRO and AIBRF after discussing the issues of the Retirees in our meeting at Delhi have decided to take up the issues jointly and Coordinate meaningfully and purposefully to resolve all the issues with the concerned authorities as early as possible
CBPRO is always open for coordinated efforts with all Retirees’ Organisations. Together we almost represent all the Bank Retirees’ Organisations and our decision to coordinate has enthused the Bank Retirees all over.
We had several rounds of discussions over phone on different issues including renewal of Mediclaim Policy of IBA. As the Mediclaim policy is a very important issue, we have to examine the developments carefully and ensure a viable and acceptable Mediclaim policy by IBA.
Both CBPRO and AIBRF had taken up the issues of GST on Medical Insurance and Uniform date of application for Gratuity payable to Bank Retirees w.e.f 01.01.2016 as given to the Central Government Employees.
We will prepare a comprehensive memorandum covering the issues to IBA and Ministry/DOFS at the earliest.
Regarding our approach in respect of 100% DA, Updation of Pension, Improvement in Family Pension, Pension to Resignees who had put in Pensionable service, and Reckoning Special Allowance for Pension and other terminal benefits, we can have a meeting during August at Delhi. Meanwhile kindly inform us whenever you visit Delhi so that we can also meet and discuss the issues.
We are hopeful and confident that the Coordination that has come about will succeed in meeting the aspirations and expectations of all Banks Pensioners and Retirees.
Thanking you,
Yours Comradely,
A.Ramesh Babu K.V. Acharya
Joint Conveners
