TimesPro, HDFC Bank to launch training course for graduates to bridge skills-gap in banking sector
MUMBAI: TimesPro has partnered with the country's second-largest private sector lender HDFC BankBSE 0.05 % to co-develop the content of a training course for graduates, aimed at bridging the skills-gap in the banking industry and transforming candidates into job-ready professionals. The course is titled 'The Modern Banker' programme.
Candidates applying for the course will have the prospect of a job at HDFC Bank. The bank will make a conditional offer of employment to selected candidates at the start of the course. The programme will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar.
The programme that is extended to over two months will train the graduates under the age of 25 for various retail banking roles such as personal bankers and tellers. The expert faculty of TimesPro at their state-of-the-art learning centres in select cities will impart this intensive programme.
