POLICY STATEMENT:
As per our policy, we don't indulge in conflicts or appeasement with any one. We are committed to follow whatever is good to nation & people followed with Banking & Bank men. We wish to be objective & purposeful in our endevours.
When we started around 2015, pensioners were in great despair. They were quite confident to get a piece of loath, but what to say of loath, their very locus-standi was denied in Joint Note dated 25.5.2015: 'no contractual relationship with their respective Banks.' Pensioner fraternity was broken by such shock. We felt, we must do something for their resurrection.
We are not Union or organization. We are a set of people trying to activate bank men so that they may learn the art to overcome despair and raise their confidence to live with joy. Forum is rendering selfless service to suffering bank men irrespective of their status- serving or retired- & organizational affiliations.
TRADE UNIONS:
We are of considered opinion that Trade Unions are the instrument of change and an important & an integral part of organized trade & industry. It's a force to protect workers. IT must be vibrant, live, active and result oriented.
BANK TRADE UNIONS:
In last 20 years, in Banking a very ugly scenario of mistrust-distrust has developed in Banking Trade Unions and today it has reached to very precarious level. Deliberately, it went unnoticed by people at the helm of affairs. Today if a referendum is held, over 90% employees & officers would show their total discard to their leaders.
We have been in news business for over 5 years, but all we received a very bad comments from across the country. We were expecting, very loyal servants of masters would counter us, but they too didn't.
OUR VIEW POINTS:
However, our eyes remain on people at the helm of affairs, because they matter in our affairs. Some leaders are not prepared to look around and believe in self righteousness guided by dictum: king does no wrong. They don't hesitate to befool bankmen, though their real faces are unmasked.
Sometime ago, they were telling that they represent serving employees/ officers only. They have no business with Pensioners. Now, their voice is changed. Now, they are trying to appease & appear different. Till a few days back, they were mum on Government stand on Bank Pensioners. Now, they say as if they have been told govt plan and are inching forward accordingly. They acclaim family pension as their achievement, while they have no role in it. It was declared by Sri Rajnish Kumar, former IBA/SBI Chairman on his own, once the MOU was signed & delivered on 22.7.2020. Now they are formating to acclaim pension updating. Now they see how many changes have had occurred in govt pension scheme since 1995. Strange, till few days back they were not ready to hear pension updating. They used to rule out on cost basis as if they were owner of Banks and pension cost was going from their pocket. It's sorry state, no shame at all.
LEADERS' CHARACTER:
We have seen high headed leaders fostering provocations, dictation, conflicts, divisions etc. It's their habit. They can't live in leadership without it. They have no guts to face truth on social media. Why should they hide truth if they have it? They must counter, if people are nonsense on social media. Create media cell. Don't go in hole. However, we hold the view that if policies, programs and decisions are determined by strong democratic processes by Unions, one may not have a reason to interfere. But, now when organizations are hijacked by people, made unions as keptive to subserve their vested interest, bank men have a genuine reason to interfer. Corruption at individual level is of miniscule impacts, but the corruption at a person level, holding institutional position play havoc & devastation to whole community, people or nation he represents. Corruption necessarily not means only financial corruption, but corrupt decisions as well. Trade Unions in Banking have become a lucrative Trade of 100% gains without any investment or expenditure. Definitely, we find it necessary to expose wrongs, whosoever he or she may be at the helm of affairs.
FALSE NARRATIVES:
On 11th settlement there are rhetorical statements in social media. Social media is targeted in better part of such statements. Naturally, we have a reason to take it as extreme side of hypocrisy: chori aur sinajori. Leaders inner conscience tell them, they are corrupt & wrong and their wrongs are in bank men sight.
Our simple view is that if there is overwhelming response & messages of happiness pouring from members, as acclaimed by leaders in disdain, where is a reason to worry? Be joyous, not jealous. Yes, it was long 'wait' & 'uncertainty' but who have been at work, accountable & responsible for it? What were the hurdles & obstacles and who they were responsible for, have never been explained to bankmen. It was just hide & seek game.
'This is one of the best settlement' is now a rhetorical joke, in consonance with all earlier settlements, which were also termed as best settlement, sometimes 'another milestone', 'landmark', 'unique', 'unprecedented' 'matchless' so on. Bank men want simple answer, how it's best? Is it better than government civil servants, which it was in 1970s? Is it better over 10th?
How it's best: Given explanation is: 'in present circumstances', of course is not satisfying. What were the 'given circumstances' that have never been explained to bank men in last 3 and a half years. It's just jugglery of words, that are being dished out to serving bankmen. Bank men are no more interested in bull and cock stories. They are highly qualified and perhaps well informed guys. Stop treating them as a class of fools.
SMALL SECTION:
It's always 'small section' that turns the history. It's small ant, but if it goes in elephant's trunk, that kills an elephant. It's high headedness & boasting of certain exposed leaders.
In social media people are not criticizing or denigrating unions, but certain notorious elements in leadership, who have hijacked their Unions. If these notorious elements know the antecedents and notoriety of such elements opposite side, who prevented them to expose? Why to wait for time? Notorious elements at the helm of Union affairs, if they are put in dock for their corruptions, wrongs, cunningly they attribute it to the Unions. How individual corruptions, misdeeds, wrongs etc can be attriuted to Unions?
GLASS HOUSE IS GLASS HOUSE:
If antecedents of people on social media are notorious, what's good on your part dear? Glass house is glass house. No matter, who lives in. It's an old dialogue that a person living in glass house should not Pelt the stone on others house. So, no such threat is going to deter, defer & deviate us from our mission.
ARE YOU IGNORANT,
INNOCENT,
MISLED?
High headed leaders turned brokers say bank men are ignorant. They call them innocent, find them misled. Bank men can imagine the bankruptcy of thoughts of their leaders. It's your leaders' opinion about you young and highly qualified bankmen! If bank men are told correct informations or they raise right questions, they are misled or say trapped in propaganda. Really, are our narratives false, pretentious & misleading?

We call upon you to please convey your feelings & opinion about our work. Is it propaganda or it anyway instigates you against your Union?
Is it wrong to enlighten you with facts? Is it wrong to activate, motivate and equip you to face forth coming challenges? We appeal you all to take a view of our narratives and if you find it wrong and ill-conceived, please write us. We can review or even stop & wind up our work. Our work is for your betterment and if it's not helping you out, what's the use of our work.
Beware of fraudsters, they are out to next target.
