Update on Memo To PMO

FLASH  LATEST UPDATES FROM PRIME MINISTER's Office--By Sri Jugal Kishore Julka

Dear Friends,

Yesterday was a very hectic as I went to Prime Minister's Office to know the status of our letter submitted on 29.8.2018 alongwith 306 individually signed Memorandums by the Retirees present in the Rally & Dharna in Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

I delivered another two letter to PMs office to kindly look into the legitimate demands of the Retirees immediately and spare some time to meet the a delegation of AIBRAF office bearers to personally explain the plight of Retirees and their long pending demands.

I was told to check the status of our letter of 29.8.18 from the Rail Bhawan office of PM. On enquiring at Rail Bhawan PMOs office, I was informed the your letter has been sent to Dept. of Banking, Finance Ministry.

On reaching Deptt. of Banking, bo III section and from there I was directed to ER Section of Banking Deptt, MOF.

Finally I was informed by ER Section, DoB, MOF that our letter has been forwarded to IBA  today itself for necessary action. Now we will be contacting IBA and give you the latest status report.

In our letter  given to PM today we hope to receive an appointment with the PMO to personally present the demands of Retirees very soon. We will continue to give you the latest updates as and when received.



Medical Insurance Scheme: outcome of the meeting between IBA & UFBU on 14 09 2018

Dear Comrades,

IBA-UFBU Meeting Regarding Medical Insurance Scheme

The said Meeting took place today I.e.14th September 2O18 as scheduled.

We are informed that IBA apprised UFBU Leaders about their Committee's Meeting with UIIC on 10th September 2O18. 

After discussion it was decided to continue the Medical Insurance Scheme with suitable changes where ever possible. 

Later on UFBU met and decided to give their firm proposals in respect of Medical Insurance Scheme making it as affordable as possible.

We are constantly and continuously pursuing the matter with concerned Organisations and Authorities and hopeful of some favourable developments.

Dear Comrades
Today meeting on Medical Insurance called by IBA took place with IBA officials along with GM HR of 3 banks. All UFBU representatives were present. IBA officials apprised the discussions they had with banks, Insurance Company, DFS etc vis a vis premium charged by the insurance company and placed certain offers for our consideration for both working & retiree officers/ employees. 

Data of last 3 years was also presented. We gave our point of view on issues raised as also responsibility of banks towards their employees etc. After the meeting UFBU separately discussed all related issues and decided to submit our suggestions by Monday to IBA by keeping the basic scheme intact with minor adjustments for Working as well as retirees.

  3. *AIBRAF FLASH*

    After hectic efforts we successfully submitted two letters to PMO by one of our AC member Mr Jugal Kishore Julka.

    *He not only submitted but asked authorities about out come of our previous representations, memoranda submitted to PMO.*

    *a) letter of request to remind about our previous bulk individual 306 memorandum submitted previously.*
    *b) Requesting appointment to meet PM by our delegation.*

    We appraise and appreciate Mr Julka for his tremendous efforts.

    We will left no effort to persuade our causes along with follow up through different channels available.

    We are also trying to give it a proper media coverage as well.
