HIGH COURT Redefines Gratuity Amount

I am very very happy to note that a few individual officers of Regional Rural Banks have taken the bold initiatives to get justified amount of Gratuity from offices of Regional Labour Commissioner called as RLC.  Some RLC have given favourable  order and advised RRB management to pay arrear of Gratuity  with interest  for delayed period. RRB has approached reliably at ALC Dhanbad.

I congratulate  union leaders of Allahabad BANK who have taken  up the matter with their management to force bank management  to recompute gratuity  of eligible pensioners and do justice. They have issued ciculars on the issue highlighting  achievements to create awareness among retired staff .

Unfortunately militant leaders of other banks and that of United Forum of Bank Union are maintaining silence. God knows their intention  behind such devious and devilous silence. They should take up the matter with management of all banks or with IBA and Government of India. They have left members at the mercy of God.

They could have filed writs  in various High courts and Supreme  Court to ensure expeditious  justice. They should take hint from order given by High Court Jabalpur quoted by union leaders of Allahabad BANK. God bless them. No information of UFBU having taken any initiative  or at least follow up action on orders givrn by various RLC and by High Court Jabalpur 

Bankers in general are unhappy with such sorry state of affairs. Retired bank staff are in  acute pain and deep anguish . 

Working staff are in light mood knowing very well that sooner or later they all have to retire and face the same reign of injustice .I hope prudence and wisdom will prevail upon them too. 

Militancy as also intention   of top level trade union leaders has now become questionable and dubious. They must act fast to restore and regain lost image.

I submit below copy of circular issued by Allahabad BANK unions which is self explicit . Some of  senior leaders feel contented by just posting such messages on Facebook. 

I am astonished and very much purtubed that present wise and active government has also not taken cognizance  of various orders of RLC and various writs filed in this regard. They could have prayed in Apex court for calling all writs and for expeditious disposal of such important  issues which has disturbed peace and tranquillity  of retired bank staff in particular and bank staff in general .

All India level trade unions of various corporates and PSUs should also come forward to resolve the stalmate. . Unfortunately  they too give a Bharat Bund call  for political issues to serve their political vested interests only, never for solutions of problems  faced by working class.
