Why Oppose Mergers? Demonstration Before IBA

Opponents  of merger and privatisation or selling of PSU shares should introspect why government  adopted  the policy of liberalization,   privatisation and globalization in the year 1991 and continues since then. They should  think why people  in general  are unhappy  with quality of services extended by PSUs and products sold by PSUs and prefer services extended by private sector companies.

Particularly  leftists  who usually  talk of socialism  and oppose capitalism should think why their ideology completely  failed not only in India but all over the world .  They should  think why working  class are in general disenchanted and annoyed with leftist trade unions.

Employees of government  sector have to sit and meditate why customers  and people in general  are unhappy  with their quality  of work and service and  why private sectors are growing  year after year and why government  sector  organisations  are moving from bad to worse year after year.

My opinion  on above is as follows

IBA has been repeatedly saying and reiterating that it  has got no mandate  from any bank or GOI to look into any demand raised by retirees,  individually or through their forums.

Unsung position  it is desirable  that we present and push forward all our demand before the office of CMD and ED of each and every bank retirees are associated  with. We may however endorse copy of such memorandum  to MOF,  IBA and to head of all unions.

We should hold demonstrations if we so like before the office of Ministries related to Finance,  human resource developement,  pension and finally  before PMO.

Legal action  may be initiated  simultaneously  in all district and state level courts.
