Now CPI for all the three months has been announced for relevant months and the same is as follows:-

Based on the above calculations the  revised  DA is to be @ 36.40%, for the months of  August,  2015 to October  2015.   [The DA for May 2015 to July  2015 was  33.70%] i.e. increase  of  2.70%. (increase of 27 slabs)  We give below the DA for August,  2015 onwards vis a vis existing DA, alongwith  the increase in DA at various levels of scales [Remember now DA is payable on Special Allowance also as basic in the xth BPS was increased by only 2% ]:-

 

 

 

[ All the calculations are based on REVISED scales as per Xth BPS concluded in May 2015 and made effect from 1st November 2012]

 

[All the DA calculations have been done for first time on new Scales based on our understanding of the circulars.  All readers are requested to treat these as tentative and they are requested to point out to us any discrepancies after comparing the amount they actually receive in their salaries at the end of the month so that we too can correct the same.
